Additionally, I offer advice and counseling on planning and starting a successful business Web site. My expertise is in using the WordPress publishing platform and recommend Themes (templates) as well as a user friendly Web host.  I work step by step with you in learning the concepts and practices of successful Web marketing. I am also skilled at strengthening LinkedIn profiles and showing you how to use LinkedIn and other Social Media platforms to grow your business.  I took 30 years of professional, consultative sales, marketing and networking skills and successfully adapted them to marketing on the Web starting in 2006.

This tutorial does not tell you how to do the one thing indicated by the title of the blog post: How to actually upload a portfolio of work in PDF format onto WordPress.com. I clicked through every page of the tutorial hoping it would be in there somewhere, but it’s not.

If you go to the visual editor page and scroll down to the second image, there is a notation “Tools to upload images and files” in red. This has been changed to a single icon in newer versions of WordPress and is still adjacent to Upload/Insert just below the title. You merely click on the icon and locate the pdf on your hard drive and upload. The video included on the images page should detail.

The purpose of this site is to give you the WordPress tools to expand your being found via search engines by using WordPress as a resume site. The focus is not merely on uploading a PDF. By the way please make sure the PDF is optimized for search to enhance the search functionality.
